Tulip

This is Tulip. She was lost near a place where she raised birds for egg production. The beak is cut off in most industrial birds that are exploited for human consumption. As chickens in the industry are trapped in tiny cages and cannot move, their nails end up not being worn.

She came with injuries to her leg, which is why she has a lot of difficulty walking. Furthermore, she came with severe malnutrition, which is why her crest has fallen. This is all because of the egg industry.

Now she is being very well looked after and is recovering. Her look is becoming brighter and more hopeful that better days are happening in her life.
